Shannon, Jen and I went on a special girls only trip up to the Pacific Northwest. We visited so many places; Forks, Seattle, and Port Angeles to name a few. Ford loaned us a car and we had a great time. Listen in to hear all about the places we visited, ate and stayed. It’s a long one, so bless you if you make it all the way through.  Please let us know what you think.
Don’t forget to visit Shannon’s blog to read all of our reviews!
Enjoy!

What We are Reading Wednesday
Posted by shannabanana1

Kim and I are starting a new weekly post on books that we are currently reading besides our book of the month, not all will be withing the YA genre so take heed.

Beastly

I downloaded this to my Kindle the other day and haven’t actually started it yet, but I am today.  It was made into a movie that I need to go see and I absolutely need to read the book before I see the movie, that way I can gripe about how the movie was so different than the book.

Here is the trailer for the movie staring Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens.

I will give you a review of the book next week.

I recently “read” (listened to) the book Wake by Lisa McMann.

This is the book trailer:

I will also have a review for the podcast.

Kindle vs Real Books
Posted by shannabanana1

VS

I mentioned in our last regular podcast about how I’m not really sure about my Kindle reader.  I like the convenience factor of it and that books are cheaper for it, also there are many free book choices.  I am not sure that I enjoy it as much as diving into an actual book.    I know you all saying you can dive into the kindle too, Shannon.  Don’t you feel like there is something missing? The thrill of opening a book, the smell of walking into a  bookstore and sitting and getting absorbed in the story, turning the pages and wonder what comes next.  So Kindle and non Kindle users, tell me your opinions, let me have it, I can take it.  What do you like about the Kindle and how can I enjoy it more.

Books, Books and more Books
Posted by shannabanana1

I have so many books to read and really not enough time to read them.  I have a stack about 3 feet tall on my bedside table of books I need to read and I have even more on my Kindle.  Free Kindle books are awesome especially when the classics are available for free, I got the entire Jane Austen collection for free, can you believe it.

So here are a few books that I am suppose to be reading…

So yeah I have much to read and as I said little time to do it, plus I need to read The Dark Divine in like 2 weeks so it goes to the top of my list.  Plus I have about 50 books on my Kindle including The Lovely Bones and Dear John.

Hey Friend me on Goodreads so you can keep up.
